Carrot Sunburst Wreath
Here's a cute and fun little project for your Easter!
I made cones from orange cardstock by rolling is diagonally and trimming the wide end straight. Then I wrapped the cones in orange yarn, making sure not to pull too tightly and collapse the cone. I added some lighter orange yarn over the top, to add some interest. Then I made green pom poms from two different green yarns. I hot glued them into the open end, so they stuck out like carrot greens. Finally I took orange yarn and tied the carrots onto a metal trivet that I had painted white. I tied them all along the trivet, pulling nice and tight in the back on each one to keep it stationary.
I sort of love it.
Mini told me there would be rabbits waiting by our front door now.
